A very personal beginning
Baby Boy.
The heart of our story.
His name is Baby Boy. He became a buddy to me, so I call him Buddy. His companionship has helped me heal, and he inspired THE CAT CODE™.
The slow blinks, the quiet company, the moments that make me laugh. He is part of THE CAT CODE’s story, and he belongs here.
Thank you, Buddy, for being my friend. And thank you to his owner for sharing the love.

Verse 1
Morning light across the floor,
A quiet shadow by the door.
A favorite chair, a borrowed sleeve,
The little ways we learn to be.
Some days run a little fast;
You find the sun and let them pass.
No perfect words, no grand design,
Just being here, a little time.
Pre-Chorus
A little less hurry,
A little more here.
Chorus
Take your time, stay awhile.
One slow blink, a little smile.
Nothing to prove, nowhere to be.
A little room, a little room to breathe.
Verse 2
You take the chair; we take the hint.
A folded blanket, sunlight in.
A midnight sprint, a royal stare,
The softer side of being there.
Some keep close and some need space;
We learn each other's little ways.
No need to make the moment grand.
A gentle paw, an open hand.
Pre-Chorus
A little less hurry,
A little more here.
Chorus
Take your time, stay awhile.
One slow blink, a little smile.
Nothing to prove, nowhere to be.
A little room, a little room to breathe.
Bridge - voice and guitar
Every home, a different story.
Every cat, a world to know.
Leave a little room for wonder.
Let the quiet moments grow.
Final Chorus - warm gentle lift
Take your time, stay awhile.
One slow blink, a little smile.
Nothing to prove, nowhere to be.
A little room, a little room to breathe.
Outro - soft resolution
A little room to breathe.
