Daily care and caregiver handoff

Keep essential care responsibilities clear and notice meaningful changes.

Check food against the existing care plan, fresh accessible water, and clean reachable litter. Record time, observations and unknowns; share changes with the veterinary team.
A handoff records actual care and uncertainty. New changes need veterinary advice; a log must not delay urgent care.
Pause and recall

Who checks each essential, and how will the next caregiver know?

  1. Use the current care plan; do not calculate a new diet or medication schedule.
  2. Record only observations you can support; mark an unknown cat identity when needed.
  3. Keep contact details private and accessible to actual caregivers.
